STORY:
This photo book, created during my photography course in 2018, explores the theme of "silence" with a focus on "deadly silence" and the contemplation of death and the afterlife. The concept led me to conduct multiple photo shoots across different locations to capture the most poignant and evocative visuals for the story. Each image reflects a moment of stillness and introspection, creating an atmosphere of quiet tension and profound contemplation. The book is accompanied by a poem, which deepens the narrative, guiding the viewer through a journey of reflection and mystery. The poem’s haunting verses echo the themes of silence and the unknown, leading the viewer through a world where life and death intertwine. Through both imagery and words, the project invites contemplation on mortality, the passage of time, and the quiet moments that bridge life and the afterlife. The final result is a meditative visual and literary experience, reflecting the delicate balance between life, death, and silence.
